The style spread across Europe at the beginning of the 20th century and reached Riga, where it left noteworthy heritage – about 800 buildings of this style. We will explore many streets of different Art Nouveau styles, such as Eclectic, National Romanticism and Perpendicular. History of buildings and people behind them will make a great understanding of Riga at this period of prosperity.
This tour will include visit of the museum of Art Nouveau with English speaking guide. Museum is located in a flat where architect Konstantīns Pēkšēns lived with his family at the beginning of the 20th century.
