Tour Description

Jurmala Tour. Best choice for a day trip from Riga.

We will begin by picking you up in Riga and in about 30 min drive will reach Jurmala.

Jurmala is the largest resort city not only in Latvia but also in the Baltic States and is well known for its natural treasures: such as the mild climate, amber sea, pine tree forests, clean air, healing mud, and mineral water.

In Jurmala, we will discover a combination of charming wooden houses built at the beginning of the last century, heritage from the Soviet era, and modern resort buildings.

During the Jurmala tour, we will visit the open-air museum after which we will head towards the sandy beach to enjoy a relaxing walk. Afterward, we will check out famous wooden summer houses. For instance Morbergs summer house and many other interesting landmarks.

Finally, we will discuss interesting facts on the evolution of this famous resort from the 19th century leading to today.

Our tour guide is born and lives in Jurmala so knows this city in and out:)
