Tour Description

We invite you to tour the surroundings of Riga to get acquainted with street art, graffiti, and other related expressions in the urban environment in connection with the city’s social everyday life and the changing nature of subcultures.

It will be possible to see and learn:

– evidence of artists no longer working in the ‘sector’,

– works from the early stages of the classics, which are still active and now in comparison with the work of the younger generation of authors,

– the aesthetically controversial tags alongside the obviously beautiful brand paintings,

– Amusing correspondence on the walls of buildings in hipster quarters and classics of the nineties – gloomy notes in the stairwells.

Departure & Return Location

Pils iela 14

We offer this tour both on foot and cycling. If you choose cycling then we provide bikes. Contact us for details.

What to Expect

The experience of the places provided by the presence during the tour will be supplemented with a historical look fixed in photographs. The wide mileage of the route will give an opportunity to feel the different mentalities of the surroundings of Riga and to understand behind the scenes of the network, which is formed by the most active graffiti and street art zones in the city.

If you want to see the surfaces described by the urban environment from a point of view close to the “writers”, choose the harshest and boldest of the tour options – the darkness of night! (ask for more info)
